AHD MCU H serves as a gateway for controlling selected displays and video switches from third-party manufacturers in order to control video sources for the display panels.
AHD MCU H receives commands for changing the video source from the Böning system, for example from AHD DRM T, AHD DRM R, or AHD DC RS, via its CAN bus. The switching commands are converted and can be forwarded to “Hatteland” displays or video switches from the manufacturer Kramer (for example, VS 41HDCP) to switch video sources.
A Hatteland display can be controlled directly via the RS232 interface integrated in the AHD MCU H. With the VS 41HDCP video switcher, the existing video sources can also be switched on other displays.
